Far infrared (FIR) is a region of the infrared spectrum of electromagnetic radiation, with longer wavelengths than visible light. All warm objects, including the human body, naturally emit energy in the infrared range.

Far-infrared accent elements are included as part of the traditional 6-in-1 construction and design of certain UltraBand pieces.
